On the evening of October 23, 2022, a call came in reporting multiple dogs on the loose in the Burrville/Oregon area of Liberty Township. Multiple deputies and were able to secure 15 black labradoodles. The canines were turned over to the Dog Warden. Another 5 doodles were located a few days later and also turned over to the Dog Warden. Anyone with any information about these canines, should contact Detective Carla Baucher.
On the morning of October 23, 2022, dispatch received a call of a stolen plastic tote containing clothing and wallet. The victim stated that he placed the green plastic tote with a gray lid between the roadway and woods while he went hunting. Around 0930hrs, he exited the woods and his tote was gone. A nearby neighbor has video of a black minivan stopping and taking the tote. If you have any information about this theft please contact Deputy Douglas Wuebker.
On September 6th, 2022 deputies responded to a theft complaint of two (2) decoy coyotes from the Tri Star school. The theft of these decoys took place on Sunday the 4th around 5:45pm. Video surveillance shows the suspect being a white male and driving a gray Chevy Silverado 4-door short bed. Please contact Deputy Deric Kroft if you have any information.
On September 25th, 2022 a deputy responded to the 8500 Blk of SR 219, Celina, Ohio in regards to a burglary complaint. The victim stated that someone had stolen several electric power tools from a workshop on the property. The stolen power tools were all DeWalt, including 4 batteries and 3 battery chargers, as well as one Honda Generator.
