General Visitation Eligibility and Times
All nonprofessional visitations shall be limited to twenty (20) minutes. An inmate is generally eligible for visitation unless:
The inmate is in an approved program or medical visit at the visitation time. These visits will not be rescheduled.
The inmate is in court. These visits will be rescheduled.
The inmate is an inmate worker on duty. It is the responsibility of the inmate to avoid this conflict.
All Video Visitation visits are by appointment only.
Scheduling is done by the visitor via the internet at cidnet.net
Appointments may be scheduled up to seven (7) days in advance of the visit but no less than 24 hours in advance of the visit.
For those visitors using our on-site Video Visitation option it is recommended that you arrive at the Mercer County Detention Center to prepare for your visit ten minutes prior to the start of the visit. Should you arrive late the visitation appointment time will be held but it WILL NOT be extended past the scheduled visitation appointment time.

How many visitors may attend a single visit = 1, Adult, 2 Minors

Visitors using off-site Video Visitation:
Off-site Video Visitation is available if you have a computer / cell phone that has access to high-speed internet and a webcam.
There is a cost for off-site Video Visitation visits. The cost for the off-site Video Visitation service is determined by Cidnet and not the Mercer County Detention Facility. For an off- site visit, an account needs to be established at cidnet.net
