The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Civil Division is responsible for Sheriff’s Sales, civil processes and court related paperwork from Mercer County and other jurisdictions. In addition, the Civil Division is responsible for Sex Offender registration and notification as well as all matters pertaining to the application for Carry Concealed Weapons Permits. Public record requests and civilian background checks are also the responsibility of the Civil Division.
